The inner vault is where material that genuinely matters ends up, and almost nobody holds an accurate plan of it. Two lines: locate the records, then govern the exits. The sequence is not a stylistic choice. Run the other way round, it fails.
Ask a small firm where its sensitive records live and the answer arrives confidently and roughly a third right. Somewhere sits a folder nobody recalls creating, an extract pulled for a board paper two summers back, a copy on a machine that ought to have been wiped, and an attachment which turns out to be the last surviving version of anything.
Actifile reads and it counts. It reports what class of material is where, how much of it exists, and puts a number against what each machine is exposing. The number does the real work. It converts a task nobody can start into a queue with an obvious first entry.
With the locations known, encrypting stops being guesswork. Nominated material is encrypted where it already lies and stays entirely usable for whoever handles it hourly, which is the only encryption that lasts inside a working office.
Channel control governs the exits: removable media, uploads, copies into places they were never meant to reach. Refused attempts are logged whether or not they achieved anything, which is how a habit gets spotted while it is still only a habit.
Figures on this page come from billing at the moment it opens. Anything you add rests on your manifest, and stays put while you read.
The inventory nobody has. Actifile reads machines and shares for material that would genuinely hurt, counts what turns up, and puts a figure against the exposure each device carries. Nothing gets governed inside a folder nobody ever found.

With the map drawn, decide what may happen next. Nominated material is encrypted in place, and the ways records leave the building come under a rule instead of under an assumption.

The gap between the marketing word and the working reality is widest in this room, so the working reality goes here.
